About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with broad patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office and in testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning modalities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Work 32 hours per week from a co-location with Hartford Health
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting at One Medical
- State licensed in Connecticut before the One Medical start date
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
