About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct virtual visits across acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care
Establish strong patient relationships to drive continuity of care
Collaborate with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and continuous learning
Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues on a virtual care team
Contribute to virtual panel-building workflows and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently licensed in the District of Columbia, with willingness and ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed, including Maryland and Virginia
Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of start date
Active state medical license with willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care
Experience or strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain patient relationships in a virtual setting
Passion for human-centered primary care
Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
Openness to feedback and reflection
Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
Readiness to adapt behavior to meet patient needs
Authorization to work in the U.S. as verified through E-Verify
