Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct virtual visits for acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care
Establish strong patient relationships and drive continuity of care
Collaborate with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and continuous learning
Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
Develop and refine virtual panel-building workflows and best practices
Build and maintain a sustainable patient panel and achieve schedule utilization benchmarks
Provide periodic in-person care at the home market location, typically one week per quarter, including wellness visits

What you’ll need

Enrolled in, or completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting at One Medical
Active California state medical license
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care
Experience or strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery
Ability to build and sustain patient relationships in a virtual setting
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing across multiple states for virtual primary care, team supervision, and remote care in other MSAs
Minimum 32 clinical hours per week
Availability for schedules between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM local time, any day of the week
Availability for evening and weekend coverage, minimum 8 hours per month
Ability to provide periodic in-person care at the home market location
Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
