About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Treat patients through telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles
Apply clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
Provide virtual clinical care in coordination with patients’ primary care providers
Deliver evidence-based care through a team-based approach 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of a master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
Active NCCPA certification
At least 2 years of Advanced Practitioner experience within the past 5 years in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages, or in urgent care or emergency medicine seeing patients of all ages
Currently licensed in DC, MD, VA, or FL, with ability to obtain additional state licenses
For FL: Autonomous APRN status
For VA: Autonomous practice
Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday
Ability to work shifts ranging from 6 am–5 pm ET, 11 am–10 pm ET, or 1 pm–12 am ET
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
Ability to use technology to deliver high-quality care
Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
