About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce AI-assisted VFX elements
- Integrate AI-generated output into production composites meeting studio and client delivery standards
- Initially focus on face swaps
- Work closely with the VFX supervisor, production team, and pipeline/TD team
- Create templates for generating photorealistic elements using deep learning technologies
- Create, maintain, and optimize workflows
- Prepare datasets for model training
- Composite AI-generated material with live-action plates and CG
- Monitor the generative video landscape and suggest improved tools or model versions
- Respect deadlines, data security, client confidentiality, and rights associated with training/reference material
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional compositing experience in film, series or high-end commercials
- Proficient in Nuke, including using AI elements in workflows
- Experience with ComfyUI node-based generative workflows
- Ability to work within VFX pipeline constraints
- Strong visual experience in composition, lighting, photorealism, and color
- Ability to clearly communicate AI capabilities and limitations to supervisors and clients
- Proactive communication skills
- Curiosity and ability to adapt to rapid technological changes
- Experience creating templates for photorealistic elements using deep learning technologies
- Experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing workflows
- Experience preparing datasets to train models
- Experience compositing AI-generated material with live-action plates and CG
- Awareness of data security, client confidentiality, and rights status of training/reference material
- Experience with AI face replacement or de-aging preferred
- KeenTools experience preferred
- Python and Linux command line familiarity preferred
- Knowledge of ShotGrid/Flow Production Tracking preferred
- Understanding of legal and ethical issues around generative AI in studio productions preferred
- French and English, spoken and written, preferred
