About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with One Pass business goals and marketing priorities
  • Own planning and execution of all client-facing, member-facing, and industry events
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and business impact through events and sponsorships
  • Create integrated event plans, timelines, budgets, and project schedules
  • Lead end-to-end event management from concept through onsite execution and post-event follow-up
  • Manage client events, sponsorship activations, member engagement events, conferences, and growth/executive events
  • Coordinate registration, venue management, food and beverage, signage, giveaways, staffing, and attendee experience
  • Partner with Marketing, Growth, Account Management, network, Product/Tech, and Leadership teams
  • Establish event objectives, KPIs, success metrics, and desired business outcomes
  • Track attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, client retention, lead generation, and brand awareness
  • Develop post-event analyses and executive summaries demonstrating business impact and ROI
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors, agencies, venues, production partners, promotional suppliers, and fulfillment partners
  • Procure event materials, signage, branded merchandise, giveaways, and activation assets
  • Manage event budgets and ensure delivery within allocated budget
  • Oversee sponsorship activations and contracted benefits
  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and recommend opportunities based on strategic fit and anticipated ROI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-6 years of event marketing, event management, experiential marketing, or related experience
  • Proven experience owning events from strategy through execution/measurement
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing event KPIs and measuring business impact/ROI
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience creating and managing event budgets
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support events (~25%)
  • Experience within healthcare, benefits, wellness, or health plan organizations preferred
  • Experience managing large-scale sponsorship activations and industry events preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot preferred
  • Experience supporting both B2B and consumer-facing events preferred
  • Must reside in an eligible U.S. jurisdiction: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington, D.C.
