About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take subject-matter ownership of three digital courses covering business accounting and financial management, financial accounting, and financial accounting with DATEV
Own, maintain, and continuously develop the courses’ content from a subject-matter perspective
Design practical assignments and learning paths based on real-world job situations and current financial accounting tools
Monitor course metrics such as learner satisfaction, learning outcomes, and source currency
Identify and report content gaps, outdated sources, software version changes, and new IHK or tax-law requirements
Use modern, AI-powered tools to create content and review and take responsibility for all content from a subject-matter perspective
Brief and manage external subject-matter experts and review and approve their contributions
Occasionally deliver live formats such as webinars and Q&A sessions
Monitor certifications, tools, examination regulations, and competitor activities
Work closely with Product Operations, media design, editorial, and the Learning Design team
As Product Owner, ensure the content quality and practical relevance of Finance learning products

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting, accounting, or tax consulting
Confident working knowledge of DATEV, Lexware, or similar software
Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and monthly and annual financial statements
Independent and structured working style
Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with colleagues, external experts, and learners
Fast learner with strong comprehension skills
Clear, accurate, and error-free written and spoken German
Open to modern, AI-powered ways of working
Willingness to build something new
Trainer Aptitude Certificate (Ausbilderschein) or AEVO certification is a plus, but not required
No degree in education and no formal trainer certification required
Willingness to complete a short case study as part of the application process
