About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work across the entire project lifecycle, from consulting and solution design through to coding
Analyze business requirements and design tailored generative AI solutions, including RAG, AI agents, prompt optimization, and model specialization
Leverage services across the Google Cloud ecosystem
Develop robust applications in Python
Integrate AI models with existing systems through APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services
Turn experiments into production-ready solutions
Deploy generative AI solutions to production on Google Cloud
Ensure performance, scalability, security, observability, and cost efficiency
Explain technical topics clearly to stakeholders
Support business and IT teams in adopting generative AI use cases

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 to 8 years of experience in software development, data engineering, machine learning, or generative AI
Significant experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including implementing solutions in production
Experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and GCP cloud-native architectures
Experience designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, AI agents, and LLM-based applications
Strong understanding of security, governance, and cost-management considerations in cloud environments
Excellent command of Python and software development best practices, including Clean Code, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews
Experience designing LLM-based solutions, orchestrating applications with LangChain or LlamaIndex, and using Vertex AI, Gemini, Model Garden, and Vertex AI Agent Builder
Proficiency in RAG architectures and services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, AlloyDB, Vertex AI Vector Search, or other vector databases
Expertise in key Google Cloud services, including Cloud Run, GKE (Kubernetes), Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring
Understanding of security mechanisms, data governance, and controls for AI usage
Google Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or equivalent certification is a plus
Experience with Vertex AI Agent Builder and multi-agent architectures is a plus
Knowledge of Kubernetes environments (GKE) is a plus
