About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders involved in cybersecurity monitoring and alerting
  • Create and enhance monitoring use cases, alerts, and dashboards, and track the progress of mandates associated with these activities
  • Establish and regularly review monitoring and alert management practices
  • Measure the effectiveness of existing security controls
  • Establish and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity technology analysts to provide subject-matter expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR software and environments (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto)
  • Experience developing use cases related to security logs
  • Information security certification is an asset
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity, including emerging security solutions, vulnerabilities, and threat vectors
  • Only candidates legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada will be considered
