Design and develop backend components for enterprise financial and compliance applications
Build scalable RESTful APIs using C#, .NET Core, .NET 8, and MS SQL Server
Develop payroll tax management solutions for state withholding and unemployment insurance
Support payment processing and electronic filing
Integrate with state tax portals and ensure compliance with IRS e-filing standards
Implement robust error handling and audit logging
Integrate business applications with CRM platforms using RESTful APIs and authentication protocols including JWT, OpenID, and OAuth2
Develop and maintain data-intensive systems for high-volume financial transactions, tax liabilities, and compliance reports
Use background job schedulers such as CRON jobs and background services to optimize automation and system performance
Modernize and secure legacy application modules through authentication, authorization, and code refactoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into software logic for tax calculations, payment distribution, data validation, and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering, or related field
3 years of work experience involving backend components and services using C# and the .NET framework, including .NET Core, for enterprise-scale applications
Expertise in reliability, scalability, and maintainability of backend applications
RESTful API development and secure authentication
Experience implementing authentication and authorization protocols such as JWT and OAuth
MS SQL/database design and optimization
Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing relational database schemas, stored procedures, and queries using Microsoft SQL Server
2 years of experience in financial systems and system integration
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining financial solutions and compliance reporting
Ability to develop and implement integration solutions between financial systems and CRM platforms
