About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead logistics integration of synthetics cold chain products across the supply chain
- Lead 3PL cold chain logistics services supporting Synthetics and Biotherapeutics platforms
- Implement logistics processes and operating models to improve cost efficiency and sustainability
- Develop solutions supporting technology transfers, new product launches, and cold chain strategy deployment
- Drive coordinated execution of cold chain initiatives across the network
- Lead implementation of cold chain transfers into and out of 3PL cold chain sites
- Stand up new 3PL cold chain sites
- Support development and implementation of synthetics cold chain capacity management processes
- Expand flexible storage capacity across the cold chain network
- Provide end-to-end project management oversight, including financials and resourcing
- Lead program updates to sponsors and core teams through final project sign-off
- Integrate cold chain procedures and systems into 3PL sites
- Develop post-go-live operational plans covering systems, processes, and people deliverables
- Oversee 3PL cold chain site operations, safety, compliance, service, and cost
- Deliver on the Cold Chain Operations budget and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain compliance with company standards and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain logistics
- Advanced degree preferred
- Expertise in multi-node cold chain logistics capacity planning, particularly within pharmaceuticals
- Experience leading and developing successful cross-functional global teams
- FPX project methodology preferred
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to influence, collaborate, and partner across organizational boundaries
- Good working knowledge of Quality, Technical Operations, Finance, Planning, and Procurement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency, including MS Office, Project, and Visio
- Excellent analytical skills for identifying gaps and root causes and developing solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work hours accommodating global work schedules
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
