About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and ensure the health, safety, and physical well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, corporate standards, and EHS requirements
- Conduct safety inspections in operational areas, offices, and construction sites
- Identify hazards and assess occupational risks
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and safety deviations
- Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans
- Deliver safety training and onboarding sessions for new employees
- Monitor legal and regulatory requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety
- Support ergonomics, occupational hygiene, and accident prevention programs
- Manage EHS documentation, licenses, certificates, and mandatory records
- Monitor third-party activities and ensure compliance with safety requirements
- Participate in internal and external audits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed Technical Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Active registration with the Brazilian Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), where applicable
- Knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), especially NR-01, NR-06, NR-07, NR-09, NR-10, NR-17, NR-23, NR-35, and other applicable standards
- Knowledge of incident investigation and risk management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
