About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support semiconductor activities in Korea and other regions worldwide as needed
- Provide application support for metrology tools
- Set up new recipes and fine-tune existing recipes to improve performance
- Develop new applications and improve tool utilization
- Work with FSE to qualify new tool installations and troubleshoot issues
- Report activities and issues to direct managers, local management, and/or HQ support teams
- Participate in application-related JEP and special projects
- Develop Best-Known-Methods during preparation
- Transfer knowledge during field implementation
- Conduct field applications training during sustaining
- Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters
- Collaborate with colleagues, headquarters applications teams, and regional teams
- Understand customer high-value problems and provide solutions
- Escalate customer pain points, complaints, and technology gaps
- Work with marketing and sales on business development
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. and above degree in engineering, optics, physics or equivalent experiences is required
- 3 years of prior experiences with optics, mechanical/vacuum, electrical systems, or semiconductor manufacturing equipment are preferred
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Ability to understand ramp requirements
- Ability to work long hours in a clean room environment
- Domestic and international travel when needed
