About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, repair, and maintain Onto Innovation metrology and inspection products
- Install new tools within the European region
- Complete both engineering and applications tasks
- Respond to tool-down situations within Europe
- Respond to maintenance requests when required
- Provide requested documentation and feedback to the U.S. factory
- Provide feedback to the sales team and help identify potential future sales leads
- Provide applications feedback to support continuous product improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business
- Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines
- Preferred experience in Semiconductor applications
- College/University degree or several years of professional experience in engineering / E&I
- Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills
- Ability to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Europe, approximately 40% of the time
