About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take ownership for local activity at Rapidus as Metrology Application Engineer
Install systems
Introduce new feature software
Conduct system use case training
Troubleshoot systems
Work on OCD/TF modeling activities as a secondary priority
Communicate closely with customers and identify their demands and required improvements using native Japanese language
Work closely with the Service team to resolve escalation issues
Participate in early morning or late-night internal conference calls when needed for escalation issues
Travel regularly to customer sites and participate in overseas training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native Japanese speaker
English communication skills
Ability to take initiative and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essential skills in planning, troubleshooting, and organizational management to ensure smooth workflow
Ability to actively collaborate and cooperate with internal stakeholders and customers to execute projects
Ability to conduct systematic troubleshooting to identify root causes, determine solutions, and perform thorough verification
Bachelor degree or Master degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
Eagerness to engage with new technologies
Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and participate in overseas training
