About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and coach Scrum teams on self-organization, cross-functionality, and goal achievement
Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective ceremonies
Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress
Coach development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices
Foster communication and collaboration within and between Scrum teams and stakeholders
Support Product Owners with product backlog management and user-story refinement
Promote Agile adoption and continuous improvement across the organization
Track and communicate team progress, velocity, and other metrics
Mediate and resolve conflicts within Scrum teams and with external stakeholders
Contribute to scaling Agile practices across multiple teams
Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and follow-through on agreed actions
Provide Scrum and Agile training and guidance
Communicate with delivery and customer stakeholders at all organizational levels
Collaborate with the PMO on status updates, issues, risks, decisions, and change requests
Lead and motivate project teams and oversee engineers and architects across infrastructure modernization, data engineering, and application development
Help the PMO Center of Excellence evolve and implement lasting organizational change
Work regularly with customers on opportunity qualification, project kickoff, progress updates, and project close

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
SAFe experience, including certification and application across at least two or three projects
Thorough understanding of Agile principles and values and the Scrum framework
Proven ability to facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies and manage a product backlog
Experience identifying and removing impediments
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Smartsheet
At least three years of experience managing IT deployment projects
At least seven years of related experience in a technical, engineering, or software development environment
Experience managing a team of engineers
Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
Iron-clad organizational skills
Positive attitude toward change and ability to adapt
Love for cloud computing
Customer-facing experience
Willingness to work with stakeholders ranging from engineers to executives
