About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain internal tools related to build systems and software packaging
- Evolve and improve the compilation pipelines and build systems used by R&D teams
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to builds, dependencies, compilers, and development environments
- Improve build reliability, performance, and reproducibility
- Collaborate with the Architecture Office on the design and evolution of the build system
- Collaborate with R&D teams on their build systems, dependencies, and delivery constraints
- Integrate build and packaging systems with the company’s CI/CD platforms
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development, build systems, CI/CD, or related fields
- Strong understanding of build systems, compilation toolchains, dependency management, and software packaging
- Experience with Conan, CMake, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory, or equivalent tools
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- French required
- English proficiency required for software available only in English
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple development and continuous integration teams
- Experience with complex or multi-platform build environments
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD platforms
