About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns and treatment goals
  • Utilize evidence-guided therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and other appropriate modalities
  • Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, resilience, and tools for managing anxiety and depressive symptoms
  • Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care tailored to each client's experiences, background, and goals
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate
  • Practice within applicable professional, licensing, ethical, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
  • Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills
  • Experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and/or related mental health needs
  • Commitment to evidence-based and evidence-guided care
  • Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms
  • Passion for providing culturally responsive, client-centered care
  • Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability
  • Experience treating anxiety disorders and depressive disorders
  • Experience with CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, or other evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Experience supporting clients with stress, burnout, emotional regulation, and major life transitions
  • Telehealth experience
  • Licensure in multiple states
  • Membership in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or PSYPACT compacts, where applicable
  • Additional language proficiency (Spanish is highly desirable)
  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
