About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop internal tools, scripts, automations, and APIs for the Implementation team
  • Identify recurring operational challenges and turn them into reliable, scalable solutions
  • Help the Implementation team deliver customer onboarding and deployment projects more efficiently
  • Support day-to-day operations while staying close to customers and technology
  • Collaborate with Implementation Engineers, Development, and SRE teams to understand needs, define solutions, and deliver practical improvements
  • Deploy network security solutions for national and international customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of working experience
  • Capability to read and understand code in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, C, C++)
  • Knowledge of how to automate common recurring tasks
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • German language skills are an advantage
  • Knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems
  • Scripting experience with Bash, Shell, Python, or Perl
  • Understanding of networking and major internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SMTP, SSH, DNS, BGP, OSPF)
  • Knowledge of network security concepts and practices, including firewalls, VPN networks, IDS and IPS, email security, and remote access
  • Design and implementation of global WAN and hub network topologies
  • Competence to work in a team and individually
