About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the implementation, structuring, and long-term sustainability of three critical services for the client's digital infrastructure
Define and deploy an API Management solution tailored to internal and external needs
Co-develop API governance: lifecycle management, versioning, documentation, security, and monetization
Build an observability stack based on Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana
Define KPIs and dashboards for technical and business teams
Lead the implementation of a controlled vocabulary and ontology management service
Facilitate collaborative workshops to capture functional and technical requirements
Define governance models, committees, and decision-making processes for each service
Structure operational maintenance processes: support, enhancements, and incident management
Integrate cybersecurity requirements from the design stage
Develop financial proposals for each service
Participate in discussions with European partners EPOS ERIC, EOSC, and NFDI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Computer Science (information systems or equivalent experience)
Additional training in project management (PMP, Agile/Scrum, SAFe) is a plus
Proven experience implementing PaaS and SaaS services
Knowledge of the Semantic Web (RDF, ontologies) is highly valued
Knowledge of API standards (REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI)
Experience with API governance: security (OAuth2, JWT), versioning, and documentation (Swagger, Redoc)
Understanding of multitenant architectures and performance considerations (rate limiting, caching)
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools and practices: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK
Knowledge of SRE practices and SLI/SLO/SLA concepts
Experience with log management and distributed tracing
Understanding of interoperability requirements and standards (INSPIRE, DCAT, Dublin Core)
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OVH) and on-premises infrastructure
Knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, ANSSI)
Knowledge of risk analysis
