About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own assigned delivery pipelines and the environments beneath them
- Build CI/CD pipelines with security gates and controlled promotion
- Define infrastructure as code with reproducible environments and least-privilege access
- Automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management across the delivery path
- Build monitoring and evidence supporting RMF authorization and continuous monitoring
- Enforce required controls and produce evidence for release reviews
- Automate manual steps out of the release path
- Build progressive delivery with automated health checks and rollback
- Work alongside developers, engineers, data scientists, architects, and strategists across strategy and implementation engagements
- Contribute to the firm's capabilities, tools, and lines of business as assignments evolve
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of DevSecOps or platform engineering experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Hands-on CI/CD pipeline automation with security gates, using AWS-native tools such as CodePipeline and CodeBuild or comparable tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
- Infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform
- Hands-on Docker image creation and containerization
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Automated security testing, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability scanning
- Scripting in Python or Bash
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Strong understanding of computer networks, routing, load balancing, APIs, and web application architectures
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot for code generation, review, and validation
- Git-based version control
- Monitoring and logging
- Proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Initial engagement requires United States citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust determination
