About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide immediate support to parents via phone, text, email, online chat, video conferences, and social media forums
- Answer questions about children’s educational programs
- Triage and respond to parent requests using OpenEd’s help ticketing system
- Maintain accurate interaction records, document FAQs, and update databases
- Advise parents and guardians on education program schedules tailored to each child
- Participate in Parent Support team meetings
- Coordinate consistent, up-to-date information across support channels
- Liaise with team leads and partner schools on complex situations
- Manage the intervention process and help families meet program requirements
- Administer or assist with Q&A and Parent Information Sessions
- Plan or assist with community events
- Identify parent issues proactively and develop strategic solutions
- Continuously improve the experience for families and teammates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commitment to maintaining flexible availability during traditional business hours in the Pacific Time Zone
- Familiarity with Google products such as Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Forms, and Sheets
- Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, webcam, and headset
- Hands-on experience managing tickets or customer interactions in a CRM or help desk platform such as HubSpot, Intercom, or Zendesk is a plus
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; or related advanced learning experiences
- 1–3 years of customer service experience, account management, or marketing
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be located in one of the listed eligible states
