About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and run a pipeline of health system partnerships from first executive conversation through signed agreement
  • Own outcomes for a portfolio of health system partnerships
  • Navigate enterprise procurement, including legal and privacy review, AI governance committees, and clinical informatics stakeholders
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance
  • Scope and lead deployments with Engineering, including SSO, EHR integration, and rollout planning
  • Advise health system leadership on aligning OpenEvidence with clinical, quality, and operational priorities
  • Stay connected to frontline clinicians
  • Bring partner learnings back to Engineering as the primary channel to the team building OpenEvidence Enterprise
  • Engage with CMOs, CMIOs, CIOs, and CEOs and work directly with the founding team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years selling or leading partnerships for software or AI products into health systems
  • Experience closing enterprise agreements with executive buyers
  • Experience running multi-stakeholder cycles through CMIO/CIO/CMO/legal/security
  • Knowledge of BAA negotiation, security questionnaires, and AI governance reviews
  • Ability to work across technical and clinical stakeholders
  • Track record of building net-new pipeline and sourcing new leads
  • First-principles thinking, low-ego, rigorous, and comfortable owning ambiguous problems in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience at a healthcare AI company during its health system expansion (strong candidate may also have)
  • Experience working at a high-growth startup (strong candidate may also have)
  • Experience building a sales organization from 0 to 1 (strong candidate may also have)
  • Ability to be in person in San Francisco 5 days a week
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
