About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recruit clients, build trust, and lead clients toward strategic performance objectives
- Provide one-on-one financial coaching sessions in person, by video conference, or by phone
- Develop personalized financial action plans
- Educate clients on budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and related topics
- Establish and maintain relationships with local strategic alliance partners
- Deliver financial literacy workshops and seminars in the community, virtually or in person
- Build productive relationships with bank partners for shared client relationships
- Encourage clients to enroll through the client portal
- Coach clients through Zoom, phone, and in-person appointments
- Monitor client progress through Dynamics CRM
- Connect clients with relevant resources, services, and financial products
- Attend community and networking events
- Stay updated on financial assistance programs, grants, and community resources
- Maintain accurate records of client activities, impact, and success stories
- Ensure data is captured in the Dynamics CRM system
- Serve as liaison with partners and the community
- Report to the Director of Operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong knowledge of personal finance, budgeting, debt management, and savings strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain effective time management
- Bachelor's degree preferred; comparable 2+ years of work experience in the financial industry considered
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Presentation and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal hands-on direction
- Professional demeanor and attire required
- Personal transportation required for travel within the designated market area
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management programs preferred
- Knowledge of interpreting credit report information preferred
- Experience building and maintaining financial budgets preferred
- Public speaking skills in both English and Spanish preferred
