Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer, maintain and monitor Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ environments
  • Manage Windows Server hosts supporting the database platform
  • Automate routine DBA tasks with PowerShell scripting
  • Investigate and resolve database incidents and performance problems
  • Take part in the support rota, including on-call duties and weekend work
  • Support business-critical banking systems for a leading global investment bank
  • Complete interviews with the IT services partner and bank
  • Undergo an external HireRight background check covering identity, right to work, education and employment history

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
  • Windows Server administration
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Readiness to work on a support rota and at weekends
  • Fluent English
  • Polish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months
  • Availability to work 3 days per week from the client's office in Wrocław
  • Technical tasks completed live during interviews; technical environment must be set up and tested beforehand
  • Accurate CV dates and employers for background verification
  • Application and CV name must exactly match official ID document
  • Candidates who took part in a recruitment process for this IT services partner or bank in the last 12 months cannot be considered
