About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build the Underwriter OS application with a Next.js/React frontend and FastAPI/Python backend
Build and orchestrate AI agents
Transform underwriting guidelines into instructions for AI agents
Integrate agents with the application, including extending the LangChain/LangGraph orchestrator
Integrate with policy administration systems, rating engines, DMS, CRM, broker portals, and Outlook
Build data extraction processes from broker documents
Deploy solutions on Azure using containers and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a Developer
Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Science / AI
At least 1 year of production deployments
Strong knowledge of React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI
Proficiency in Python, including pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow
Proficiency in SQL
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL databases
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies: Azure Blob Storage, Document Intelligence, AI Foundry
Solid understanding of LangGraph or similar orchestration tools
Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering
Practical experience with MLOps, including Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
Knowledge of NLP/OCR techniques and experience working with unstructured data
Understanding of AI Governance and AI Act regulatory requirements
Native/fluent Polish required for communication
Nice to have: Microsoft Azure certifications DP-100, AI-102, or AI-900
Nice to have: experience with Azure AI Search and Power Platform
Nice to have: knowledge of Kafka or ESB integration tools
Nice to have: understanding of insurance-industry business processes
