About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the incident and problem management process for production incidents
  • Diagnose and resolve issues, run root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Continuously monitor service health, detect anomalies early, and act before they turn into incidents
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security scanning, and deployment automation
  • Keep Pre-Production and Production environments stable, aligned, and behaving as expected
  • Document operational procedures, known issues, and resolution steps
  • Build a reliable knowledge base for the team
  • Collaborate with development and platform teams to triage issues and clarify operational requirements
  • Close the feedback loop between production and development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, application support (2nd/3rd line), or a similar production-facing role
  • Proven track record of owning incidents end-to-end, from alert through RCA to prevention
  • 2+ years of experience working within an ITIL framework (incident, problem, and change management)
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments alongside development teams
  • Proficiency with Jenkins for building and maintaining pipelines and for executing and troubleshooting deployments
  • Hands-on experience improving and automating CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency with log analysis and alerting tools (Splunk, Sysdig)
  • Fluency in observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana), including reading dashboards and tuning alerts
  • Comfortable operating services on Kubernetes, such as checking pod health, reading logs, and triggering restarts
  • Excellent skills with Ansible for applying configuration changes in controlled operational scenarios
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
  • Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automating repetitive operational tasks and reconciling data
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate complex production issues
  • Excellent English communication skills (C1), with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with IBM DataStage (nice to have)
  • Experience with GitHub Actions (nice to have)
