About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as an integral member of Optro’s expanding legal team
- Focus primarily on Enterprise and Strategic deals
- Support Area Directors and their teams
- Independently lead legal negotiations with customers
- Provide general guidance on subscription agreements, data processing agreements, partner agreements, and vendor agreements
- Help shape initiatives that streamline Optro’s contracting process as the company scales
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of in-house transactional experience involving potential customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives
- 3+ years of experience negotiating SaaS agreements, amendments, and order forms with enterprise customers
- Understanding of the full contract lifecycle from NDA through internal approvals and signature completion
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency editing and managing contracts using Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks to completion within required time frames
- Flexibility to address unique issues in real time and recognize when to involve others
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
- Background check required
