About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell Optro products to large publicly traded and private organizations
  • Execute full-cycle sales, including territory planning, pipeline generation, and progressing opportunities to close
  • Expand opportunities in existing and new customer accounts through cross-sell, upsell, and net-new acquisition
  • Strategize multi-pillar platform sales across business units and economic buyers
  • Collaborate with CCOs, CAOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, EVPs, and SVPs to develop tailored solutions
  • Identify customer pain points, educate prospects on Optro’s value, demonstrate the product via video conference or onsite, and guide prospects through the sales process
  • Travel 25%–30% for client and partner meetings, events, and conferences
  • Co-create solutions and business cases to drive stakeholder advocacy and adoption
  • Work with SDRs/BDRs, Product Solutions, and Value Architects to achieve sales goals
  • Partner with Implementation and Customer Success teams to support customers and set expectations
  • Develop the Big 4 and boutique-firm partner ecosystem for business development
  • Engage with C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies and represent Optro at industry events as a thought leader

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be based in California
  • Senior Manager or higher in a Risk Advisory practice (risk management, internal audit) of a Big 4 firm, OR 7+ years of sales experience with at least 4 years selling enterprise/B2B SaaS solutions
  • Top 10% of salespeople in current role with a consistent record of exceeding quarterly and annual quotas above $1.3M–$1.7M
  • Deal sizes and sales-cycle experience aligned with the segment
  • Proven ability to navigate complex SaaS deals and position products against competitors
  • Strong executive presence
  • Skilled in MEDDICC/MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Coachable, willing to learn, collaborative, and relationship-building ability
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 25%–30% travel availability
  • Background check required
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the job is based and disclosure of sponsorship/immigration support needs
