Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as an integral member of Optro’s expanding legal team
Primarily focus on Enterprise deals and support West Coast Area Directors and their teams
Independently lead legal negotiations with customers
Provide general guidance on subscription agreements, data processing agreements, partner agreements, and vendor agreements
Shape initiatives to streamline Optro’s contracting process as the company scales
Work with potential customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives across sales and information security

What you’ll need

8+ years of in-house transactional experience with direct interaction with customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives
5+ years of experience negotiating SaaS agreements, Amendments, and Order Forms with enterprise customers
Understanding of the full contract lifecycle from NDA through internal approvals and signature
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency editing and managing contracts using Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites
Growth mindset and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to completion within required time frames
Team mentality and flexibility to address unique issues in real time
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
