About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare individual, estate and fiduciary tax returns for US and non-US residents under senior staff supervision.
  • Primarily service entrepreneurs and co-founders of corporate clients with net worth over $10M.
  • Participate in tax planning and consultation for clients in collaboration with tax lawyers and wealth management firms.
  • Prepare international tax forms, including 5471, 8865, 8858 and 114.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, a related field or working towards completion.
  • At least 1-2 years of general tax or accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with tax software and accounting tools, including international tax compliance software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to identify and address complex international tax issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team spirit.
  • Ability to respect deadlines or communicate in advance if deadlines cannot be met.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues from various departments to provide holistic client solutions.
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Professional skepticism.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Working towards CPA is a plus.
  • French language is a plus.
