About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and execute field events including industry conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and cybersecurity and identity security events
  • Design and run executive programs including roundtables, dinners, workshops, and bespoke experiences
  • Build and run account-based field programs with regional sales representatives
  • Own end-to-end event logistics, including vendor management, venue sourcing, speaker coordination, booth production, budget tracking, and on-site execution
  • Drive pre- and post-event engagement with demand generation and marketing operations
  • Track and report field marketing ROI, including pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, attendance, and account engagement
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure messaging consistency across field activities and regional sales tools
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team on integrated campaigns combining field, digital, and content programs
  • Serve as Orchid Security’s field presence and report directly to the VP Marketing
  • Build the regional field marketing function and support East Coast sales pipeline

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of field marketing or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology
  • Proven ability to plan and execute a regional event calendar from scratch, managing budget, logistics, and vendor relationships simultaneously
  • Strong partnership instincts with sales; understanding of pipeline and revenue
  • Experience running executive programs and intimate customer experiences
  • Hands-on experience with account-based field programs targeting high-value accounts
  • Data-driven mindset; ability to track pipeline contribution and improve program mix
  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple events and programs simultaneously
  • Based on the East Coast
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region and occasionally nationally
  • Experience in cybersecurity, identity security, IAM, or adjacent enterprise security markets (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with CISOs, IAM leads, GRC teams, and enterprise security buyers (nice to have)
  • Early-stage startup experience building a field marketing function (nice to have)
  • Experience with intent data and ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase (nice to have)
  • Existing relationships within the East Coast cybersecurity and enterprise IT community (nice to have)
