Key responsibilities & impact

Lead brainstorming, scoping, design, and architecture of large-scale technical initiatives end to end
Operate with significant autonomy on projects spanning weeks or months
Design and develop subscription management and retention experiences, increasingly personalized with AI, for millions of customers
Design and build AI agents that recommend and test subscriber retention tactics
Serve as a peer technical leader and mentor
Raise standards for code quality, system design, and engineering practices across the team
Build features across the full stack using frontend and backend frameworks
Set best-in-class frontend development standards across the company

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of full stack software engineering experience, with at least 3 years operating at a senior level
Demonstrated ability to independently lead large, ambiguous technical projects from design through production
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and CSS
Experience designing and supporting scalable full-stack solutions
Experience using backend languages and frameworks to build services and APIs
Values quality and best-in-class user experience
Passionate about leveraging AI and eager to learn new skills
Skilled communicator, comfortable articulating complex ideas, driving technical discussions, and influencing decisions across teams
Openness to growth and the full spectrum of long-term career paths
Familiarity with Google Cloud and Kubernetes
Familiarity with accessibility best practices and WCAG Level AA
Experience with NodeJs, Django, or Go
Experience with e-commerce products or high-traffic SaaS products
Proven track record engaging in the design of new systems at scale
