About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative, technical, clerical, and office management support to EDGE managers in the Office of Information Services
  • Ensure clerical and logistical functions of the section operate in an orderly fashion
  • Establish and maintain procedures and controls needed to carry out assigned program activities
  • Support administrative tasks for multiple levels of management, line staff, and project staff
  • Coordinate complex schedules using Microsoft Outlook
  • Prepare narrative and statistical reports
  • Collect and analyze administrative data
  • Collaborate with a team of State of Oregon and Oregon Health Authority employees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience including coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis
  • OR an associate degree in general office occupations and two years of qualifying secretarial or administrative support experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar programs, including Microsoft SharePoint
  • Expertise in scheduling using Outlook, including creating, deconflicting, and managing complex schedules with large numbers of participants
  • Must submit a resume and cover letter addressing minimum qualifications and desired attributes
  • Must answer all supplemental questions completely and accurately
  • Availability for occasional on-site work in Salem, Oregon
  • Employment contingent upon criminal records check and driving records check meeting OHA criteria
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; position does not provide visa sponsorship
  • Must complete I-9 documentation within three days of hire
