Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, the Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a related degree and two years professional-level experience in Public Relations or Affairs; OR five years of experience directly related to the position, including two years at the professional level
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Full professional fluency in Spanish and English
  • Required resume describing how minimum qualifications are met
  • Required cover letter describing how desired attributes are met
  • Attachments must be in MS or PDF format
  • Experience writing in Associated Press Style
  • Experience using graphic design programs, video editing programs, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of publishing and layout best practices for newsletters, news articles, and press releases
  • Experience updating websites using a content management system
  • Applicants selected to move forward must complete a language skills assessment
  • Employment contingent on passing a criminal background and fingerprinting check
