About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support data oversight functions for the agency’s Production section
  • Protect the Department’s investment and manage data integrity and consistency
  • Use data and tools to inform underwriting practices
  • Identify gaps in training needs
  • Facilitate and streamline underwriting and closing processes
  • Conduct quality analysis of data systems
  • Coordinate and analyze forecasting of production pipelines
  • Track and report production status for managers
  • Administer and support federal- and state-funded multifamily rental housing resources
  • Occasional travel on official State business may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three years’ experience in preparing or analyzing residential, commercial, or public sector loan applications using cash flow, financial statements, historical and annual operation analyses, including collections and foreclosure procedures; OR processing real estate transactions including qualifying, evaluating and extending credit to borrowers, and property inspections; OR marketing, analyzing, servicing, or underwriting residential, commercial, or public sector loans; OR economic or community development
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economic, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for the experience
  • An Associate's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or a related field may substitute for 18 months of experience
  • Background in affordable rental housing programs
  • Experience conducting quality analysis of data systems
  • Experience coordinating and analyzing forecasting of production pipelines
  • Experience tracking and reporting status for production managers
  • Experience promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices in the workplace
  • Resume and cover letter required
  • Must complete the US Department of Homeland Security’s I-9 form within three days of hire and be authorized to work in the United States; OHCS does not offer visa sponsorship
  • Finalists subject to a computerized criminal history check
  • If driving, must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, or an alternate method of transportation
