About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and develop statewide services for children entering and exiting state-contracted 24-hour residential programs
  • Design, develop, and monitor implementation of Individual Service Plans
  • Serve as an active member or team leader for Individual Service Plan teams
  • Provide oversight, training, and technical assistance to ensure child safety and delivery of contracted services
  • Collaborate with community partners and families to assure overall service coordination
  • Collaborate in developing new services and supports with current and new 24-hour residential providers
  • Travel throughout Oregon for in-person meetings with families and children
  • Conduct direct, face-to-face contact with children and families in the community, hospitals, and family homes for evaluation, planning, and service monitoring
  • Make appropriate referrals for suspected child abuse and/or neglect
  • Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with occasional overnight, evening, and weekend work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five years of experience coordinating or administering a program related to health, human, social and/or disability services
  • An associate degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, health or human services, or a similar related area substitutes for 18 months of experience
  • A bachelor's degree in a listed area substitutes for three years of experience
  • A master's degree in a listed area substitutes for four years of experience
  • A doctorate degree in a listed area substitutes for five years of experience
  • Experience independently managing workload and work timelines
  • Experience using conflict resolution, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience communicating clearly and cross culturally in writing, directly, or virtually
  • Experience using Outlook, Microsoft Teams, VPN, and Zoom
  • Experience providing support for children in 24-hour residential programs
  • Experience providing oversight, technical assistance, and training to Developmental Disability 24-hour residential programs
  • Knowledge of federal/state rules and regulations for Oregon DD residential providers
  • Valid license to drive and acceptable driving record
  • Must complete criminal history and background check if selected
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship offered
  • Required two-page cover letter
  • Resume or completed work history profile required
  • Mandatory reporter of suspected child abuse and/or neglect
