About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary contact for all OrganOx commercial business in the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans with the Vice President, Commercial, North America
  • Support market selection and go-to-market strategies
  • Identify potential customers and develop value propositions for the OrganOx product portfolio
  • Act as a solution expert for organ perfusion and develop business cases for perfusion programs
  • Provide sales, customer support, and clinical support
  • Deliver product introductions and customer in-services
  • Analyze the territory and identify key target accounts
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads
  • Monitor competition and share market intelligence with marketing
  • Build relationships with multiple customers within accounts and communicate supply and inventory information
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • Support market development and patient access efforts
  • Support education programs for physicians and health professionals using metra
  • Collaborate with Field Clinical Specialists, marketing, medical, leadership, and the broader matrix team
  • Represent OrganOx and its products at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Participate in the customer service rotation within the assigned sales geography for a minimum of 90 days
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and company policies
  • Travel routinely by air and stay overnight, approximately 60% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related medical field
  • Multiple years of clinical experience in Liver Transplant
  • Ability to travel 60%
  • Deep understanding of the medical device market, preferably with experience in organ transplantation
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively
  • High level of clinical aptitude with thorough understanding of the liver transplant disease space, clinical studies, and medical device products
  • Ability to prioritize and comfortably manage a large geography requiring routine air travel and overnights
  • Proven expertise as a clinical resource
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resourcefulness, ingenuity, and personal credibility
  • Excellent virtual and live presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work in a high-stress, non-routine environment
