About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and govern Azure DevOps organizations, projects, teams, repositories, pipelines, boards, area paths, iteration cadences, and access controls
- Manage Azure DevOps provisioning, permissions, access reviews, platform health, adoption metrics, configuration drift, and configuration incidents
- Administer and govern LaunchDarkly projects, environments, roles, access controls, SDK integrations, APIs, webhooks, and feature-flag lifecycles
- Partner with release management and Engineering teams on feature-flag configuration, progressive delivery, SDK health, and enablement resources
- Administer Flyway versioning conventions, environment configurations, migration monitoring, standards enforcement, validation, rollback documentation, and automation
- Manage Cursor and other AI-assisted development tooling, including provisioning, licensing, seat allocation, configuration standards, adoption, and enablement
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI tools for scripting, platform analysis, configuration review, documentation, access reviews, and compliance evidence
- Maintain, publish, distribute, and govern Engineering standards documentation and the standards repository
- Monitor standards adherence, coordinate onboarding standards materials, and support standards retrospectives
- Maintain access-control governance, provisioning and de-provisioning, access reviews, audit records, and security hardening across administered platforms
- Support SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST 800-53 audit readiness
- Build automation, monitoring, alerting, enablement resources, and workflow improvements that reduce administration toil
- Track platform health, adoption, support trends, and standards compliance for Engineering Systems leadership
- Lead complex configurations, cross-platform integrations, large-scale automation, standards contributions, technical mentoring, platform architecture recommendations, and AI tooling strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to legally work in the Dominican Republic
- Strong English reading comprehension and written communication skills
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in an Engineering Systems Administration, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Technical Operations role within a Software Engineering organization
- Hands-on experience administering Azure DevOps, including project configuration, pipeline management, access control, board structure, and area path management, at a depth sufficient to independently resolve platform configuration issues
- Experience managing feature flag platforms; LaunchDarkly strongly preferred, including flag lifecycle governance, environment management, SDK integration health, and flag hygiene practices
- Familiarity with database migration tooling and versioning practices; Flyway experience strongly preferred, including migration script standards, CI/CD pipeline integration, and migration execution monitoring
- Demonstrated active use of AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code in day-to-day technical work, including AI-assisted scripting, platform analysis, or documentation production
- Experience managing access controls and user provisioning across engineering platforms with an understanding of least-privilege principles and compliance evidence requirements
- Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail
- Clear written communication skills for producing accurate, usable platform documentation, enablement guides, and configuration records
