About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Revenue Assurance team.
- Transform data into insights, forecasts, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze revenue performance, identifying variances, trends, anomalies, and opportunities throughout the revenue cycle.
- Conduct Actuals vs. Budget vs. Forecast analyses, identifying the key drivers behind variances.
- Build and monitor revenue projections, scenarios, and assumptions.
- Investigate the root causes of revenue deviations and leakage, transforming data into improvement recommendations.
- Develop analyses to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, revenue leakage, and recovery opportunities.
- Work with large volumes of data, performing data joins and exploratory analyses.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive analyses to monitor revenue performance.
- Automate recurring analyses and processes.
- Support the identification, measurement, and prioritization of process improvement and financial value-generation opportunities.
- Partner with Technology, Finance, Sales, Operations, Billing, and Customer Service teams.
- Explore applications of Artificial Intelligence, automation, and predictive models.
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Revenue Analytics, Business Intelligence, Planning, or other analytical functions.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including KPI, dashboard, and analytical development.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience analyzing large datasets.
- Experience with projections, forecasting, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of statistics applied to data analysis.
- Preferred: Python knowledge, especially for data analysis and data preparation.
- Preferred: Experience with statistical or predictive models.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Machine Learning.
- Preferred: Experience with anomaly detection or pattern identification.
- Preferred: Experience automating analyses.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Big Data tools, Cloud platforms, or data platforms.
- Preferred: Previous experience in Revenue Analytics, Revenue Assurance, Billing, Pricing, or Revenue Management.
- Preferred: Experience applying AI to analysis and decision-making.
- Analytical, investigative, and inquisitive mindset.
- Strong ability to interpret data and identify cause-and-effect relationships.
- Ability to translate numbers into business insights.
- Statistical reasoning and the ability to work with hypotheses.
- Ability to work independently, structure problems, and propose solutions.
- Strong communication skills for presenting analyses to technical and executive audiences.
- Curiosity about new technologies, automation, and Artificial Intelligence applied to business.
