About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Detect, quantify, and prevent revenue leakage across the full distributed generation (DG) cycle — generation, quota allocation, credits, billing, and collections — through data analysis, systematic reconciliations, and detection models.
  • Build and execute automated reconciliations across generation, injection, quota allocation, issued invoices, utility data, and collections databases.
  • Develop anomaly-detection rules and queries for unissued invoices, incorrect credit compensation, tariff discrepancies, improper discounts, active customers without billing, and cycle disruptions.

  • Trace issues back to their root cause and follow up on corrective actions until recurrence is eliminated.
  • Maintain leakage dashboards and KPIs, including historical series, realized recovery, and avoided losses.
  • Structure data and detection logic in a reproducible manner, transitioning one-off analyses to continuous monitoring.
  • Translate findings into concise reports for leadership, including impact in Brazilian reais (BRL) and recommended actions.
