About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a lead Solution Architect and trusted technical advisor on Salesforce client engagements
- Own solution architecture and design for complex Salesforce implementations aligned with client business goals and long-term technology strategies
- Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and architecture discussions with clients and stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions
- Evaluate solution options and recommend approaches balancing business needs, technical feasibility, scalability, and cost
- Provide architectural guidance across Salesforce clouds, integrations, data architecture, automation, and platform capabilities
- Partner with Engagement Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and delivery team members for successful project execution
- Provide technical oversight throughout project lifecycles, identifying risks, resolving challenges, and ensuring solution quality
- Communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support user adoption and long-term solution success through practical, sustainable designs aligned with business processes
- Maintain an active billable role in client delivery while pursuing broader technical leadership initiatives
- Travel as needed for client workshops, key milestones, and strategic engagements
- Serve as a senior architecture resource and escalation point for complex technical challenges
- Establish solution architecture standards, design principles, and Salesforce implementation best practices
- Lead architecture reviews and guide technical design decisions for consistency, quality, and scalability
- Collaborate with delivery leadership to strengthen solution architecture capabilities and delivery effectiveness
- Enhance technical processes, methodologies, tools, and knowledge sharing
- Stay current on Salesforce innovations, emerging technologies, and industry trends
- Support pre-sales through technical discovery, solution design, architecture recommendations, effort estimation, and proposal development
- Contribute to strategic discussions on technical capabilities, future service offerings, and growth opportunities
- Foster collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong background in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, or a comparable architecture leadership role
- Proven experience designing and leading complex Salesforce implementations, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, solution design principles, integrations, data architecture, security, automation, and scalability
- Ability to translate business challenges and requirements into practical, well-designed technical solutions
- Experience leading technical project teams and providing architectural direction across cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience partnering with project or engagement management teams to deliver solutions on time and aligned with client expectations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate trade-offs, navigate ambiguity, and make sound architectural decisions
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing technical professionals
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and Salesforce delivery best practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance billable client responsibilities with broader leadership initiatives
