About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft, review, and negotiate mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase agreements, and other business transactions
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial leases, employment agreements, construction contracts, and corporate agreements
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, business formations, compliance, and contractual matters
  • Manage transactional legal matters while collaborating directly with clients and other professionals
  • Conduct due diligence, identify transactional risks, and develop practical legal solutions
  • Provide strategic guidance to business owners and healthcare professionals on important business decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
  • Active Georgia Bar license/admission required
  • 4+ years of corporate law, business transactions, or commercial contracts experience
  • Strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex business agreements
  • Hands-on commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including asset purchase agreements, strongly preferred
  • Healthcare, dental, or medical practice transactional experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, legal writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to independently manage assignments and build strong client relationships
