About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage change controls and assess changes related to primary packaging materials
- Evaluate the suitability and functionality of new primary packaging materials
- Provide expertise on primary packaging materials and manage related documentation
- Contribute to marketing authorisation applications and variations
- Manage quality requirements and specifications for primary packaging materials
- Plan test runs
- Report to the Head of Primary Packaging Materials & Cleaning Validation
- Support Orion’s pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging and product lifecycle management activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in a relevant field, preferably related to packaging materials
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to take ownership of tasks/projects and ensure completion on time
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and engage others toward shared objectives
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate and prioritise multiple tasks
- Can-do attitude and excellent collaboration skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English
- Previous experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics or packaging industry is advantageous
- Proactive, self-motivated and committed to achieving agreed objectives
- Keep expertise up to date
- Communicate clearly with different stakeholders
- Willingness to continuously improve
- Approved medical examination, including drug testing, required prior to employment
- Security clearance required prior to employment
