About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own financial control, month-end and reporting for Remote to a standard that stands up to Group review
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Lead and develop Remote's corporate team
- Review and improve finance processes so they scale with the business
- Provide the General Manager with forward-looking insight on margin, utilisation and workforce costs
- Oversee payroll governance, statutory and tax compliance, and audit readiness
- Align Remote's financial practices with Orro's Group finance function
- Partner with Orro's Group finance team
- Support the growth of Remote, a specialist government services and workforce solutions business
Requirements
What you’ll need- CA or CPA qualified
- 5+ years in-house finance roles across financial control, financial planning and analysis, or finance management
- Hands-on ownership of month-end, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience leading a finance or business support team
- Track record of improving finance processes
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen (SCV 444)
- Bonus: Experience in a labour hire, recruitment, or managed services business
- Bonus: Exposure to government contracting, panel arrangements, or regulated industries
- Bonus: Experience within a group structure or private equity-backed organisation
