About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and coordinate a diverse range of projects within the portfolio.
- Track project milestones and maintain a comprehensive project milestone tracking system.
- Ensure project deliverables are met within agreed timelines and budget.
- Identify and address delays, programming issues, conflicts, bottlenecks, and project risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve conflicts and streamline project delivery.
- Monitor and track project resources, including personnel.
- Allocate and utilize resources efficiently across multiple projects.
- Forecast resource needs and manage resource availability with project managers.
- Engage with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and provide updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
- Work with the Project Director on portfolio strategy, planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports on portfolio performance, status, risks, and resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices and standardized approaches.
- Complete QEHS documentation, forms, records, corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Level 8 degree in Civil and / or Structural engineering, level 8 degree in construction management or a relevant related discipline.
- 10 years+ experience in the construction industry working as a project manager.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Comply with ORS Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) Management System requirements.
- Understand and apply ORS Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety policy statements.
- Contribute towards achieving company’s ORS QEHS objectives.
