About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee financial performance metrics associated with the HMIS contract scope of work at the Richland, Washington site
- Drive cross-functional integration across business operations
- Partner with stakeholders to enhance financial planning and optimize business processes
- Assist in creating and manage budgets
- Monitor project financial performance
- Identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues affecting timelines or financial outcomes
- Document project progress and provide regular status reports to leadership
- Maintain independence from execution functions to preserve planning, monitoring, and control integrity
- Serve as point of contact for project controls
- Collaborate with the contracts organization to maintain fiscally sound execution
- Coordinate with the Program Manager, Directors, and functional leads across Finance, Accounting, Contracts, and other corporate organizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening
- Must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire
- Must be able to obtain Department of Energy access badge
- Proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and dashboard development using Power BI, Excel, and other business intelligence tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools
- Ability to develop, manage, and monitor budgets
- Project controls processes and project management software experience preferred
- Ability to travel by vehicle or aircraft and safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including repetitive keyboarding and lifting objects up to 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to comply with federal regulations concerning controlled substances
- Ability to successfully complete and pass a federal background check investigation for the required HSPD-12 PIV credential
