About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the strategy and implementation of strategic projects supporting Oscar's Virtual Care program
  • Set department strategy and ensure operational efficiency
  • Deploy tactics to improve overall program performance
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, product, data, and clinical teams
  • Report to the Director, Virtual Care
  • Set, drive, and execute the Virtual Care team's strategy, including determining new opportunities
  • Identify and drive cost-savings opportunities with key business units
  • Manage key company and department strategy initiatives from development through implementation
  • Evaluate financial and operational performance dashboards to drive improvement
  • Translate program performance into materials for Senior Leadership report-outs
  • Develop and grow direct reports and support professional development
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years experience in healthcare strategy and operations, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience managing individual contributors
  • 3+ years project planning experience
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
