About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver quality care to patients on Oscar's platforms via phone and video
- Serve as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers
- Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state-by-state regulations
- Provide medical care virtually by phone, video, and message in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices, and policies
- Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Report to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Fluency in Spanish determined by proctored assessment
- 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice
- Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States
- Must have TN License
- Must have one of TX or FL licenses
- Active IMLCC or eligible to apply
- Willingness to be licensed in additional states with Oscar's assistance, working with the licensing vendor
- Experience with value based care documentation standards
