About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Post and reconcile business transactions across international entities in Odoo
- Process accounts payable and receivable end-to-end
- Run the dunning process for overdue balances
- Execute payment runs accurately and on schedule according to internal approval procedures
- Support month-end and year-end close with the Head of Accounting
- Prepare reconciliations and schedules
- Prepare periodic reports and analysis from posted data
- Provide financial information to the Head of Accounting and leadership
- Sort, code and digitally archive supporting documentation
- Follow up on missing documentation
- Identify workflow friction and help automate processes using Odoo
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years in a hands-on accounting or bookkeeping role covering AP, AR and month-end
- Experience in a scale-up or international setting is a strong plus
- Methodical, detail-oriented approach and accuracy under high transaction volumes
- Solid command of accounting principles and the month-end close cycle
- Exposure to more than one country or legal entity is a plus
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is a bonus, not a requirement
- Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency in additional European languages, especially German, French, or Dutch, is a strong advantage
- Ownership of work and willingness to ask questions early
- Experience with modern accounting software or ERP tools
- Hands-on Odoo experience is a real plus
- Preference for digital-first workflows
